Job Description

Software Engineer / C++ Developer (Video Game Graphics Unreal 4 Unity 3D Maths). *Remote Process* Industry-leading games development company is seeking an ambitious Software Engineer to take ownership of critical projects and make an impact across their dedicated Graphics division.

You'll be joining as they embark on an ambitious growth initiative - with Hollywood production values in their sights, this is an exciting time to join. From engaging with industry-leading, next generation features for rendering to content creation and human stimulation, you'll support them to intensify the player experience.

As a Software Engineer you'll take ownership of driving the highest quality image possible for each scene, calling upon your domain expertise to apply a deep understanding of rendering techniques and systems to meet the requirements of the game, extend the feature set and promote new approaches. They predominantly use C++ to code, so strong experience of this is essential.

From specification to platform-specific rendering, in this Software Engineer role you'll have the chance to get involved at all stages of asset production and work with teams business-wide to achieve the highest quality visual fidelity possible. This role would suit a motivated self-starter, someone who can relay complex technical information to a variety of audiences from artists to engineers and producers.

*Please note: this company is able to conduct an entirely remote interview process during the current circumstances. Eventually you'll be based at offices in Guildford, a very short walk from mainline station.*

*You have strong C++ skills
*You're passionate about graphics and are keen to keep pace with the latest rendering techniques and technologies - likely to do projects in your own time
*You are familiar with 3D Maths skills and broad knowledge of its theory and practical application
*You take a practical approach to technical problems and are able to provide efficient, usable solutions
*Desirable: you have some knowledge of coding / ability to profile, optimise or debug code

As Software Engineer you will earn a highly competitive salary (£60k) plus a comprehensive benefits package. If you're interested in this Software Engineer / C++ Developer (Video Game Graphics Unreal 4 Unity 3D Maths) role, apply now or call today to find out more.
