Software Engineer / Data Reliability Engineer (Data Golang Kubernetes) *Remote Interview WfH*. Technologist sought by fast growing FinTech in the Open Banking space.
As a Software Engineer / Data Reliability Engineer you'll join a small team responsible for architecting and running the data layer of the core banking platform ensuring it is highly available, scalable, performant, user friendly and can be monitored using observability tools.
You will be working with a modern tech stack comprised of container based, cloud-native infrastructure largely hosted on AWS, codified in Terraform and deployed with Concourse with extensive use of Kubernetes, along with Cockroach and Kafka in the data layers. You'll lead the design and build of new features to eliminate manual processes and improve reliability, creating proof of concepts and be involved across the full lifecycle including code management, automated testing, deployment and support.
There's currently a fully remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home fulltime for the foreseeable; when possible you'll join colleagues in the London office for 1-2 days a week. *You have production development experience using Golang as well as production Kubernetes administration skills
*You have experience of working with microservices architectures
*You have AWS operations experience
*You've used git and Jira for code / task management
*You're a collaborative communicator who can explain complex technical concepts and enjoys contributing to mentoring and knowledge sharing activities
