Job Description

Software Engineer / Full Stack Developer (Python Django JavaScript API) *Remote / WfH*. Are you a technologist seeking a role where you can progress your career, taking a lead role on tech decisions and seeing the impact of your work?

You could be joining a fast growing site for UK holiday rentals that has seen unprecedented success in the last eighteen months.

As a Software Engineer you will focus on backend development of the core platform with scalability and best practice in mind. You'll be working on a modern tech stack using Python, Django and working with complex APIs within a TDD environment using SOLID design principles and Pair Programming and will also gain exposure to GCP, Docker and Kubernetes as well as the JavaScript Vue.js client side. You'll be part of a collaborative team where you will influence technology choices and advocate best practice.

There's a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work fulltime, permanently from home, with the caveat that you'll meet up with the team in London around once a month, following social distancing measures.

*You have serverside Python development experience including Django
*You have worked with complex APIs
*You also have JavaScript front end experience, ideally Vue.js
*You're familiar with cloud based environments, GCP would be great but AWS also good; Docker; Kubernetes
