Job Description

Technical Change Manager / Developer Advocate (Java AWS) *Remote Interview WfH*. Are you an evangelist of software development best practice?

You could be joining a fast growing FinTech that's SaaS solutions are helping High Street banks to compete with the challenge from their online tech driven rivals.

As a Technical Change Manager / Developer Advocate you will ensure that all teams are using best practice and that tech is at the heart of everything. You'll streamline existing processes and drive efficiencies, promoting a singular dev culture across all teams / product lines.

You'll liaise with senior stakeholders and Technical Leads to understand their pain points / what they're doing well and help to effect change and drive transformation across the organisation.

This is a varied role where you'll "be the face" of the developer community within the organisation and to client and partners. You'll organise and present at tech meet-ups, arrange speakers, write blog content and facilitate knowledge sharing across the organisation. You'll also take ownership of maintaining Open Source libraries and promote developers to contribute.

This is a great opportunity to make an impact in a fast growing organisation with excellent career growth opportunities.

There's currently a fully remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home fulltime for the foreseeable; when possible you'll join colleagues in the London office for 1-2 days a week.

*You have a strong technical background as a software developer - ideally with Java (or other OO programming language)
*You have a strong knowledge of modern development environments encompassing microservices and AWS
*You're a technologist who enjoys meet-ups, tech events and staying abreast of new and emerging technology
*You're a natural, confident communicator able to achieve buy-in from experienced development teams
