Job Description

Technical Support Analyst / Engineer (Java .Net Computer Science IT). Are you a bright, ambitious Technical Support Analyst seeking a role where you can learn and develop your skills? You could be gaining valuable knowledge of financial trading systems at a market leading financial software house that provides real-time web connectivity market data and trading services to investment banks and other financial institutions worldwide.

As a Technical Support Analyst you'll join the Service Desk responsible for providing 2nd / 3rd line technical support for customers' web based trading systems. Responsibilities will include eliciting diagnostic information from the customer, performing analysis and working with developers to review product code and work with parts of the customers' code to replicate issues that they are experiencing. You'll develop strong working relationships with clients and ensure that their requirements and expectations are managed in a professional manner.

Driven by technology the company can offer a fully remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home, with a gradual return to the City office in due course with continued flexibility to work 1-2 days a week at home.

Requirements:
*Degree educated 2.1 or above; Computer Science preferred
*Experience of providing technical support for software systems / applications, troubleshooting and investigating issues
*Good knowledge of Linux, able to review file logs
*Good knowledge of Java and / or .Net code
*Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
*Advanced analysis and problem solving abilities
