This is a high-visibility role where you'll be responsible for identifying technical issues faced by customers (blue-chip global finance clients) managing support issues efficiently and effectively from commencement to resolution in line with agreed SLAs.
This Technical Support Consultant role would suit a pragmatic communicator with an excellent client-facing character, able to relay complex technical information to a variety of audiences and form robust working relationships at any level of business.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual wanting to bring problem-solving and customer-facing skills to an industry-leading organisation. You'll play an integral role in the overall support ecosystem, and applying candidates must be able to read code (strong coding/ scripting skills are highly advantageous).
*Please note: this company can offer a remote interview and onboarding process as well as 100% work from home during the current social distancing measures. There will be a gradual return to London-based offices in coming months, with some continued flexible work opportunities.
*You have experience of providing technical support for software systems/ applications
*You're confident working with Linux command line
*You have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, able to maintain a professional client-facing character at all times
*You're degree educated, 2.1 or above in Computer Science or similar discipline
