Job Description

Technical Support Engineer (Linux TCP/IP). Do you have expertise with Linux and a love of problem solving? You could be working on challenging and complex systems whilst progressing your career and continually learning at one of the world's most advanced cybersecurity technology companies.

As a Technical Support Engineer you'll handle 3rd line escalations from the Helpdesk Support Team and pro-actively seek ways to enhance the platform, providing stability, pipeline automation and low level debugging.

You'll join a highly intelligent and motivated team working on a wide variety of projects with a diverse toolset and will be able to take ownership and run your own projects, working fairly autonomously on new ideas you'll see the effect of your work and be a key contributor to a global product at the forefront of technology.

Requirements:
*You have strong commercial experience of supporting Linux systems
*You're able to script to automate solutions to common problems (e.g. bash, Python)
*You have a good understanding of basic networking protocols e.g. TCP/IP, OSI model
*You're familiar with configuration management tools
*You're collaborative with good communication skills
*You're degree educated, having achieved a 2.1 or above in a STEM subject
