Job Description

Technical Support Engineer (SQL Oracle SaaS). *Remote Process*. Key partner to the pharmaceutical industries is seeking a capable Application Support Engineer to join their talented global team.

In this Technical Support Engineer role you could use your specialist skills as a catalyst for positive change as the organisation specialises in leading-edge software products and consultancy services to help healthcare professionals improve the supply of samples to their vital research processes.

As a Technical Support Engineer you will represent the organisation and core product, building relationships with key stakeholders to translate the products you are representing to positive business results for the customer. You'll act as a key technical pivot across cross-functional teams, providing on-site installations and upgrades, integration testing and troubleshooting of the core products, utilising modern relational database software like SQL and Oracle.

You'll also partner with Business Analysts to provide an in depth overview of individual products, implementing new features and updating existing systems.

*This company is able to conduct an entirely remote interview and onboarding process during the current circumstances, and you will join an upbeat, successful team based in modern offices in London in due course. In this Technical Support Engineer role you'll also have the chance to travel to client sites across the UK and internationally.*

Requirements:
*You have experience in a support / project role of SaaS / data management solutions
*You have relational database experience (SQL, ideally also with Oracle)
*You're proficient with Windows and MS Office
*You're degree educated in a numerate discipline (or have demonstrable equivalent experience)
*You're a professional, self-assured communicator who is confident dealing with stakeholders at all levels of business
*You have first-rate time management skills and are able to prioritise competing project demands efficiently and effectively
*Beneficial: you are familiar with the life science / pharmaceutical industry
