Job Description
As a Technical Support Engineer / SMS Specialist you will be the point of escalation for SMS related issues and provide subject matter expertise to the wider support team. You'll dive deep into complex issues, liaise directly with clients; drive and manage customer related projects, initiatives and tasks for strategic accounts that use the while labelled SMS customer relationship platform. You'll take ownership of supporting the SMS platform and work with software engineers to ensure minimal issues can arise; provide feedback to Carrier and Routing teams to improve service options and pro-actively share knowledge with customers and colleagues alike.
Requirements:
*Expertise with messaging technologies: SMS, SMPP, GSM
*Strong technical support experience, ideally within the telecommunications or SaaS sectors
*Good knowledge of networking technologies (TCP/IP, UDP)
*Familiar with developers' tools and languages (e.g. Java, Node, Python, Ruby, PHP)
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills; collaborative and keen to share knowledge / mentor
