Job Description

Technical Support Engineer (SQL Linux CRM 2nd Line SLA). A key player in renewable energy trading is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to enhance their capabilities as they enter a new phase of growth.

The company is dedicated to building a globally scalable technology platform to encourage energy companies to make better, greener decisions. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will work within the Service Delivery area, taking ownership of issues received from clients and third parties, ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner and meet agreed SLAs.
You will be responsible for monitoring the portfolio of company assets and services and escalate any issues where necessary, and will gain exposure to working with data, looking for patterns, manipulating spreadsheets and querying databases.

Requirements:
*You have experience as a Technical Support Engineer
*You are familiar with Excel and carrying out SQL queries (ideally you've done some basic programming and have used the Linux command line and / or some VBA)
*You're a self-assured communicator, able to confidently relay technical information to technical and non-technical audiences
*You're positive; eager to learn and understand new technologies
