Job Description
As a Technical Test Engineer you will help ensure the quality of the core product, a complex mathematically based C++ algorithmic software that can be embedded on a range of devices to process audio, such as hearing aids and IoT home devices.
Day-to-day you'll collaborate across teams to maintain and develop the integration test suite; perform systems administration and configuration of Jenkins based Continuous Integration infrastructure; develop test setups on prototype boards, embedded CPU and mobile devices and write tests for APIs and SDKs. You'll generate good quality bug reports and document test procedures, collaborating with software engineers.
There's currently a remote interview and onboarding process and work from home for the foreseeable with the expectation to do a mix of office based and WFH going forward. When you are in the office you'll be based in near Cambridge City centre with a quiet, relaxed working environment and core hours of 1000 to 1600.
Requirements:
*You have software development and / or testing experience in a commercial software environment
*You're able to code with Python and have an understanding of C++ and Linux OS
*You have a good working knowledge of CI/CD and Jenkins
*You're collaborative, keen to learn and work with a range of technologies including Audio
