Application Support Engineer (Python Linux 1st/2nd line German English) Vienna / WFH to €52,000

Are you a bright, ambitious Application Support Engineer with a good working knowledge of Linux OS, combined with fluent English and German language skills?

You could be progressing your career at a global FinTech and gaining valuable knowledge of financial trading systems.

As an Application Support Engineer you'll provide 1st and 2nd line support to a global client base with a focus on German speaking clients. You'll follow issues through to resolution or escalate to the 3rd line team where appropriate. You'll be supported to reach your potential through on the job training and mentoring as part of friendly and inclusive team.

You'll join colleagues in Vienna in a hybrid work from home model, with three days a week in the office.

About you:

• You have commercial experience in a similar application / technical support role
• You have a good working knowledge of Linux
• You have Python scripting / coding skills
• You have a good knowledge of SQL
• You enjoy problem solving and following issues through to resolution
• You have fluent English and German language communication skills
