Backend Software Engineer C++ Linux - Remote

Backend Software Engineer / Developer (C++ 17 Linux) *Remote / WFH*. Are you a skilled backend Software Engineer with modern C++ development skills?

You could be progressing your career at a scale-up technology company as they grow their UK presence. This is an opportunity to remain hands-on working on complex systems; taking ownership and making a real impact.

As a Backend Software Engineer you'll utilise your breadth of technical knowledge to design, build and extend high quality applications for the core platform, bringing world class products to market. You'll be working with Agile development (Scrum) techniques, collaborating with the CTO in the UK and counterparts in South Africa.

There's a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home full-time from anywhere in the UK; the office is based in Sevenoaks, Kent.

Requirements:

• You have expertise with modern C++ development, you'll be using C++17
• You have experience with Design Patterns, Object Orientated Design, multi-threading, concurrency and real-time systems
• You have experience working in an Agile (Scrum based) environment
• You have a good knowledge of Linux OS
• You have excellent communication and collaboration skills
