Backend Software Engineer / Developer (Java Low Latency) *Remote UK*

Do you have experience of working on low latency systems?

You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on position for a growing European FinTech that provides a suite of SaaS products for energy trading.

As a Backend Software Engineer you'll focus on backend development of complex, real-time, low latency Front Office trading systems including exchange connectivity.

WFH Policy:

There's a remote interview process and you'll be able to work from home, anywhere in UK.

Requirements:

• You have experience with core Java (will also consider other backgrounds e.g. C++ or C#)
• You have experience of developing low latency systems (ideally finance but could be telcos, games or other)
• You have a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as Object Orientated Programming, Data Structures, Algorithms, Design Patterns
• You have an understanding of AWS and microservices
• You have good analysis and problem solving skills
