Backend Software Engineer / Developer (Python) Vienna / WFH to €70,000

As a Backend Software Engineer you'll design and develop complex, scalable, backend services for real-time algorithmic trading systems. You'll join a collaborative team, problem solving and working across the full development lifecycle from system design through to deployment.

Location / WFH:

You'll be based in modern offices in Central Vienna; there's a great team environment with regular social / sports / team events as well as personalised training budget and time set aside each week for your own personal R&D or paid for German language lessons and flexibility to work from home two days a week.

About you:

• You have strong backend Python development skills
• You have system design skills and experience of working on complex, scalable software
• You have a thorough knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, Algorithms
• You enjoy problem solving and collaborating as part of a team
• You are degree educated in a technical or scientific discipline
