Backend Software Engineer / Developer (TypeScript Node AWS) Remote to £85k

Are you a backend focussed Software Engineer looking for an opportunity to progress your career, whilst working remotely on a modern tech stack?

You could be joining a scaling AI software solutions provider in a senior, hands-on role.

As a Backend Software Engineer you will build new features with a focus on backend services and APIs using TypeScript, Node and AWS, also with some Python work for LLM integration. You'll take ownership of projects, working across the full development lifecycle from requirements through to delivery and help to drive the adoption of AI within the development lifecycle.

Location / WFH:

There's a remote first policy so you can work from home on a fulltime basis with the caveat that you'll meet up with the team in London once a month (expenses paid); there's also flexible working hours (with a 10am stand-up).

About you:

• You have strong backend software engineering skills with TypeScript and Node.js
• You have strong AWS experience including ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS and RDS
• You have a good working knowledge of Python
• You have experience of building RESTful APIs and microservices
• You have a good understanding of database development on PostgreSQL and DynamoDB
• You're collaborative and pragmatic with great communication skills
