C++ Developer / Backend Software Engineer (Linux SQL) Remote to £75k

Are you a skilled C++ Developer who enjoys working on complex and challenging systems with continual learning opportunities?

You could be progressing your career at a scale-up technology company, the core product is an automated document processing and secure storage platform that enable clients to better manage the data generated.

As a C++ Developer you'll utilise your breadth of technical knowledge to design, build and extend high quality applications for the core platform, bringing world class products to market. There's a lot to learn on the core platform, you'll be supported with training and mentoring yet work fairly autonomously, collaborating with colleagues remotely in South Africa.

WFH Policy:

You can work from home anywhere in the UK; there's also flexible hours.

Requirements:

• You have strong modern C++ backend development skills, you'll be using C++17
• You have a good knowledge of databases (SQL, MySQL, Oracle)
• You have experience with large, distributed systems
• You have a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals e.g., Design Patterns, OOP, multi-threading, concurrency and real-time systems
• You have experience working in an Agile team environment
• You have a good knowledge of Linux OS
• You have excellent communication and collaboration skills
