Engineering Manager (PHP Next.js) Budapest to 2.4 million HUF

Are you a hands-on technical leader with a PHP backend software engineering background?

You could be joining a scaling technology start-up in the fast growing re-commerce space.

As an Engineering Manager you'll remain hands on with architecture and design decisions whilst managing and growing a small team and establishing development processes. You'll design and oversee scalable software architectures, ensuring quality, performance and maintainability whilst collaborate with the business to drive the technical roadmap.

This is a great opportunity to take on an impactful role which you can shape and influence.

Location / WFH:

You'll be based in Budapest two days a week with flexibility to work from home the other three days.

About you:

• You're an experienced technology leader who has worked on large scale platforms
• You have a strong PHP backend software engineering background, with experience of making architecture and design decisions
• You have experience with modern front end development languages such as React and Next.js
• You have a good understanding of AWS cloud based infrastructure
• You have an appreciation for AI and how to use it to optimise efficiencies
• You have fluent Hungarian and English language skills
