Enterprise Architect London / WFH to £160k

Do you have experience of driving transformational business and technology change within Asset Management environments?

You could be progressing your career in an impactful Enterprise Architect role at a tech driven, global Asset Manager with multiple billions of dollars under management.

As an Enterprise Architect you will be at the intersection of investment, business and technology, shaping some of the organisation's most important technology decisions. You'll work closely with business and investment leadership to understand strategic priorities, translate them into technology direction and ensure major change programmes are working towards a coherent target state.

You'll own business capability maps, target-state architecture and the enterprise technology roadmap, driving their adoption across the change portfolio so programmes are aligned to a clear strategic destination. You'll also help define enterprise architecture principles, standards and guardrails, ensuring they are embedded into delivery rather than simply documented.

Translating enterprise strategy into practical guidance you'll maintain the connection between architectural direction and delivery reality. You'll challenge and shape platform strategy with senior business and investment stakeholders, helping to turn competing requirements into clear technology decisions.

You will also lead technology assessments and vendor RFPs, bringing a strong business architecture perspective and understanding of the Asset Management technology landscape. You'll proactively identify architecture gaps, dependencies and blockers, driving resolution before they become delivery issues.

AI will also be an important part of the agenda. You'll help drive its adoption across the architecture function, identifying where AI can fundamentally change how systems are designed, delivered and evolved.

Location / WFH:

There's a hybrid work from home policy with three days in the London office per week where you'll join a supportive, diverse team environment with a large range of facilities.

About you:

• You have significant experience in business architecture, enterprise architecture or a senior transformation role, with a track record of turning strategy into roadmaps that get delivered
• You have experience of driving change and transformation
• You have experience in Asset Management or comparable financial services, with strong, current knowledge of the sector's vendor and technology landscape and a solid grasp of capital markets and financial instruments
• You have a strong grounding in business architecture including capability modelling, target operating models, value stream mapping
• You have strong influencing and facilitation skills, credible with business and investment leadership and other senior stakeholders, able to drive outcomes through influence rather than authority
