Front End Developer Manchester / WFH to £100k

Are you a highly skilled Front End Developer with strong Vanilla JavaScript skills?

You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role at a global trading firm.

As a Front End Developer you will take a prime role within an Agile team creating new features on a highly feature rich, real time trading platform front end. There's a range of projects including migrating Angular.js code to React and Svelte. You'll work closely with the Design Team to review and feedback on designs as well as the Java Team to integrate with the backend trading systems.

As a senior member of the team you'll also help to provide technical leadership via mentoring and be involved with the design and architecture phase, collaborating with Product Owners, where you'll be able to influence technology choices.

WFH Policy:

Following a remote interview process you'll be working in an informal atmosphere in Central Manchester with a good work life balance, casual dress code, bright, spacious offices and a peaceful work environment and flexibility to work from home 2 days a week.

Requirements:

• You have strong Vanilla JavaScript skills
• You're happy to maintain and transition Angular.js code to React (you can pick React and Svelte up on the job)
• You have strong HTML5 and CSS3 skills
• You have a good understanding of OOP, architecture and design principles
• You enjoy problem solving and are not afraid to make mistakes and start again
• You believe in well tested, quality code - Unit testing / TDD experience
• You're collaborative and pragmatic, happy to mentor and share ideas / knowledge
