Golang Developer / Backend Software Engineer (Go AWS) WFH / London to £100k

Are you a Golang Developer with high throughput backend software engineering experience?

You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on Golang Developer role at one of Europe's fastest growing audio content platforms with 176 million active users and ambitious growth plans to become the world's number one music streaming service.

As a Golang Developer you will take a lead role in the end-to-end development, optimisation and scaling of the media streaming pipeline, designing and developing systems that process petabytes of data and support high throughput traffic to ensure a seamless playback experience. You'll architect and develop backend services in Go / Golang within an AWS cloud environment.

There's a variety of projects to get stuck into, you'll be working with a modern tech stack, continually improving and optimising using the latest technology and techniques.

Location / WFH:

You'll be able to work from home most of the time, with the caveat that'll join the team in London once a month, there's a lot of flexibility, you may prefer to go in more often, the offices are seriously cool and offer a sociable environment with a range of perks and experiences.

About you:

• You have experience of building and scaling backend systems using Go / Golang
• You have experience of developing high availability, high performance systems as well as experience of effective monitoring of distributed systems
• You have a strong knowledge of AWS and experience of using IaC tools such as Terraform
• You have experience of designing and maintaining microservices architecture including databases, automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
• You're collaborative and enjoy working in fast paced environments with flexibility and autonomy
