Junior Data Scientist (Python SQL) London / WFH to £40k

Are you a naturally curious, ambitious Data Scientist with a first class education?

You could be progressing your career as a Data Scientist working on a Tech for Good application for the healthcare sector that utilises AI and Machine Learning techniques to help prevent patients from experiencing health crisis.

As a Junior Data Scientist you will join a small team to develop and deploy predictive models and analytical tools that flag potential issues and trigger interventions, working with large data sets using Python and SQL. You'll have exposure across the full data science lifecycle, from data exploration and feature engineering to model development, evaluation and monitoring. You'll also play a key role in maintaining and evolving the high-level model of AI-driven case finding and intervention delivery.

You'll be supported to learn and progress your career as part of a small, collaborative team of highly talented individuals.

Location / WFH:

You can work from home most of the time, meeting up with colleagues in the London office once a month / quarter.

About you:

• You have achieved a first class BSc in a STEM discipline from a top tier university (i.e. Russel Group / Oxbridge, World top 20), ideally having studied an MSc in a data related subject
• You have strong Python and SQL skills
• You're naturally curious, enjoy problem solving and using data to address real world problems
• You're collaborative with great communication skills and the motivation and desire to learn and deepen your experience
• Ideally you will have 12 months in a commercial position (this could be as an internship) or have an interest and desire to work with healthcare data
