Lead Front End Developer / Engineer (JavaScript Pixi.js iGaming) Belgrade / WFH to €60,000

As a Lead Front End Developer you will collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to deliver the roadmap, leading and mentoring a small but growing team to instil a culture of continuous improvement and technical growth.

You'll remain hands-on with architecture, design and implementation of scalable and maintainable front end solutions using JavaScript, Pixi.js, React and Redux, working closely with game designers, product managers and backend engineers with a focus on casino games. You will optimise performance of web applications ensuing they can handle high traffic with a seamless user experience, carry out code reviews and keep up to date with new and emerging trends and technologies, introducing improvements.

Location / WFH:

You'll join colleagues in the based in the Belgrade office two days a week with flexibility to work from home the other three days.

About you:

• You have technical expertise with JavaScript and React, ideally you will also have Pixi.js experience, must be happy to learn and use
• You are proficient with other web technologies such as SCSS / LESS, CSS pre-processors and front end optimisation techniques
• You have strong leadership and mentoring skills, managing small to medium sized teams
• You have a good knowledge of front end testing tools such as Jest, Mocha or Cypress and experience with build tools such as Webpack and set up of CI/CD pipelines
• You are collaborative with excellent stakeholder management skills
• You have fluent English language skills
• You have iGaming experience, ideally you will have worked on casino / online games or other highly transactional systems
