Lead Full Stack Developer / Engineer (JavaScript React Node) Lisbon / WFH to €70k

Would you like to take a lead role working across the full stack with a range of programming languages and technologies?

You could be progressing your career at a tech driven digital consultancy that have a track record of delivering cutting edge experiences for a number of big name clients.

As a Lead Full Stack Developer you will take a lead role within an Agile team whilst remaining hands-on whilst also managing clients; you'll lead the initial architecture and design and drive the technical direction in projects, assuring they meet scalability, robustness, quality and security requirements. You'll also help to mentor more junior team members and introduce new technologies and ways of working for continuous improvement.

You'll have exposure across the full stack building highly scalable and resilient web and mobile applications; technologies in use include JavaScript, React, React Native, Node within a microservices environment with CI/CD and Cloud deployments (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Location / WFH:

You can work from home most of the time, meeting up with colleagues in the Lisbon office once a month (you should live within a two hour commute).

About you:

• You have a range of software engineering experience across the full stack (you could be more biased to front or back end but with experience across both)
• You have a strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript, React / React Native and Node.js and associated web technologies such as HTML5, CSS
• You are able to work on both large production projects and small, fast, alpha and beta products, with the ability to make the appropriate choice on speed, quality and scalability for different project challenges
• You have a strong understanding of accessibility
• You have a good knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps practices (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines and IaC (e.g. Terraform, Puppet)
• You have a good knowledge of APIs
• You're collaborative and pragmatic with great English language communication skills, comfortable working directly with clients
