Lead QA Automation Engineer (C# TypeScript) Remote UK to £90k

Are you a skilled QA Automation Engineer who would relish the opportunity to establish a test function from scratch whilst remaining hands-on?

You could be joining a financial services tech consultancy that specialise in solutions for Pensions and Investment Managers; continually progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role.

As a Lead QA Automation Engineer you will take ownership of developing and automating the test strategy and framework which is currently being done by developers in a TDD environment. You'll guide developers on QA best practice, write and implement automation tests in C# and TypeScript to test applications across the full tech stack including hands-on exploratory testing, design and implementation of test cases. You'll work across the full development lifecycle, participate in Agile ceremonies and seek continuous improvement, defining and setting standards for modern automated test techniques.

This is a senior, impactful role where in time you can build a team around you.

Location / WFH:

You can work from home most of the time, joining colleagues in the London or Bristol office occasionally (e.g. once a quarter) for team meetings and socials.

About you:

• You have strong experience with QA test automation ideally within SaaS environments
• You have experience of leading test strategy and frameworks
• You can code with C# and / or TypeScript
• You have experience with Playwright test automation
• You have strong experience in functional, regression, data validation, performance, security and API testing
• You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
