Market Data Analyst (Python SQL) Champaign, Illinois onsite to $220,000

Do you have a first class education combined with Market Data experience?

You could be progressing your career at a FinTech start-up, they have secure backing and an established Hedge Fund client as a partner; this is an excellent opportunity to join a scaling tech company.

As a Market Data Analyst you will have a varied and interesting role, splitting your time between support traders with market data related services (e.g. Bloomberg) and project based work. You'll work across a variety of areas / asset classes and then will be able to choose specialisms and projects that suit you best, you will be encouraged to contribute ideas and run your own projects.

Location:

You will join colleagues in Champaign, Illinois on a fulltime basis, Monday to Friday.

About you:

• You have achieved a GPA score of above 3.6, having studied at an Ivy League university
• You have commercial experience in a similar Market Data related role
• You have a good knowledge of different asset classes (Equities, Fixed Income, Credit, Listed Derivatives, etc.) and their features / lifecycle
• You have experience with systems such as Bloomberg
• You have Python and SQL coding skills
• You are naturally curious, enjoy problem solving and have advanced analytical skills
• You have excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
• You are a US citizen or hold a Green Card, no visa sponsorship is available
