Platform Engineer / Developer (AWS TypeScript IaC Docker) *Hybrid WfH / London* to £85k

Opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented Platform Engineer to join an established start-up that is experiencing rapid growth and success. The company have a niche business model; providing a suite of software applications to help vehicle owners take care of their car admin.

Your role:

As a Platform Engineer you'll be joining a growing, cross-functional engineering team of 10 who work across API development and DevOps. As a Platform Engineer, you will work on everything platform related across the business, including maintaining the infrastructure that drives the platform and building out new features on the service layer. You won't need to be an expert in every tool and will apply the right one depending on the challenge in front of you which means the tech stack is always changing.

Office & WfH Policy:

The company is based in London however, you can work remotely up to 3 days a week.


  • You have previous experience as a Platform Engineer, or similar, and experience in DevOps and API development
  • You have a good understanding of TypeScript
  • You have experience / familiarity with a number of the following: AWS, GCP, Pulumi, Terraform, Docker, GitHub, CI/CD, MongoDB, distributed event driven architecture
  • You have a solid understanding of software engineering
  • You have excellent communication and collaboration skills

As a Platform Engineer you can expect to earn a competitive salary (up to £80k) plus benefits.
