Senior Application Support Analyst (Azure) London / WFH to £75k

Are you a senior Application Support Engineer looking for an opportunity to take ownership, establish processes and build a team around you?

You could be progressing your career to a hands-on leadership role at a hugely successful, global specialist insurance company.

Your role:

As a Senior Application Support Analyst you will be responsible for building the 2nd Line Application Support function; there's currently a small team of four that have progressed from the L1 team and the company is looking to scale the team located in the UK and India to provide 24/7 support to a global user base. The team will operate across the company's multiple products that are developed in C# .Net and deployed to Azure. You'll be hands-on initially, building expertise / product knowledge and dealing with escalation and then will help to recruit the team, providing technical leadership and team management.

WFH Policy:

There's a remote first policy so you can work from most of the time, meeting up with colleagues in the London office twice a month (initially you'll be expected in 2-3 days a week to get up to speed on product knowledge).

Requirements:

  • You have experience in a Senior Application Support Analyst / Engineer position, ideally with mentoring experience
  • You have a good understanding of Application Support best practice, policies and procedures; you're excited to build a new desk and a team around you
  • You have a strong knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack including Azure and have worked with C# .Net code bases
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
