Senior Backend Developer / Engineer (PHP MySQL Kubernetes) Remote Germany to €80,000

Opportunity to progress your career in hands-on role at a leading heath-technology company that produce a mobile "brain training" app that has over 20 million users and is scaling further.

As a Senior Backend Developer you'll develop new backend features on the platform, contribute to microservices development and increase efficiency of deploying systems using Kubernetes to provide a scalable and stable infrastructure within a DevOps environment.

Location / WFH:

You'll join a small, friendly Agile team working remotely from anywhere in Germany (with flexible working hours) - please note you will be required to visit the Berlin office for the first two weeks for training (expenses paid).

About you:

• You are an experienced backend software developer / engineer
• You have strong PHP skills including Laravel or Slim Framework
• You have a strong knowledge of Kubernetes, software deployment and CI/CD pipelines
• You have a good knowledge of databases, MySQL preferred
• AWS experience would be great, but you can learn this on the job
• You have fluent English language skills, German language skills would also be great but not essential
