Senior Data Engineer (Azure Cloudera ERP) Nottingham / WFH to £80k

You could be progressing your career in a senior, impactful role at a rapidly growing Microsoft Solution Partner, that provide a range of Data Analytics solutions to big name clients.

As a Senior Data Engineer you'll work with clients to integrate them with the core platform that combines data vault technology, Microsoft Layers components and common data structures to streamline and accelerate modern data programmes. You'll implement data flows to connect operational systems, data for analytics and business intelligence systems, document source-to-target mappings and re-engineer manual data flows to enable scaling and repeatable use. You will use a range of technology including Python, PySpark, Cloudera, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric and Data Flows.

Location / WFH:

You can work from home most of the time, meeting up with colleagues in the Nottingham office twice a month (please note you must be within an hour commute to Nottingham).

About you:

• You have experience as a Senior Data Engineer
• You have strong Python coding skills and PySpark experience
• You have experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Flows, Data migrations, Microsoft Fabric and Cloudera
• You have ERP experience - particularly with SAP or Microsoft Dynamics 365
• You are collaborative with excellent communication skills, have a commercial mindset and good business acumen
