Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS IaC) London / WFH to £90k

Are you a DevOps / Platform technologist with strong AWS experience?

You could be progressing your career in a hands-on technical leadership role at a well established consumer facing financial services company that help people to manage debt, as they go through a technical transformation and scale-up following recent investment.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will collaborate closely with the Lead Platform Engineer and software delivery team to ensure they have the infrastructure they need to deploy quickly and securely to the Cloud (AWS). You'll be a key member of a newly formed team with plenty of scope to impact technical discussions and decision making.

Location / WFH:

You'll be based in fantastic new offices in London that offer a wide range of facilities including wellness rooms and onsite gym for three days a week with flexibility to work from home twice a week.

About you:

• You have strong experience in a DevOps or Platform Engineer position
• You have hands-on experience with AWS, including multi-account strategies
• You have a strong knowledge of IaC, ideally AWS CDK (or Terraform)
• You have experience of designing and operating container platforms e.g. ECS / Fargate, Kubernetes
• You have experience with serverless and event driven architectures
• You have experience of building and operating CI/CD systems at scale
• You have experience with cloud security, audit and compliance controls and designing for observability, resilience and operational excellence
• You're collaborative and pragmatic, with great communication skills
