Global market data platform for cryptocurrency is seeking a technologist Senior DevOps Engineer.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will focus on cloud infrastructure, playing a pivotal role in the design, implementation and maintenance of highly scalable, secure and reliable financial data and trading platforms.

Responsibilities will include developing tools for application and performance monitoring, contributing to system architecture design, developing and deploying cloud infrastructure using IaC (Terraform), improving K8S and CI/CD pipelines, designing and implementing Disaster Recovery and backup solutions and automating and streamlining operations and processes.

Location / WFH:

You can work from most of the time, meeting up with colleagues in the Vancouver office occasionally (must be within commutable distance).

About you:

• You have achieved a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar discipline
• You have strong experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on AWS
• You have experience within a trading / financial services / banking environment
• You have a strong knowledge of Containerisation using Kubernetes / K8S
• You have experience of building and rolling out Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• You have experience with CI/CD pipelines in large scale enterprises
• You have a good understanding of networking concepts, security principles and best practices
• You are proficient with a coding language e.g. Python
• You are proficient with monitoring tools such as ELK stack, Prometheus or Grafana and logging systems like Fluentbit, ElasticSearch / OpenSearch
