Senior Java Developer / Backend Engineer (AWS Spring Boot API) London / WFH to £100k

Do you have expertise with backend Java development?

As a Senior Java Developer you will join a fairly new team working on a new crypto offering to design, develop and implement high performance cloud-native backend services including owning DevOps processes to ensure systems are robust, secure and observable. You'll be working with a modern tech stack using Java, Spring Boot, CI/CD, Kubernetes, AWS, EKS and Grafana / Splunk.

About you:

• You have advanced backend software engineering experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST, Postgres, Redis
• You have experience of running production workloads on Kubernetes (Amazon EKS preferred)
• You have a good knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD, IaC (Terraform) and container orchestration
• You have experience with observability tooling
• You have a solid understanding of secure coding and deployment practices
• You're collaborative and pragmatic with great communication skills
