Senior Software Engineer / Developer (C# .Net Core AWS) Budapest to €60,000

Global Tech for Good company that is enabling life changing education to be accessed by students around the world is seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer with C# .Net Core and AWS experience.

As a Senior Software Engineer you will focus on building cloud based (AWS) distributed architectures using event driven and RESTful APIs, you'll also have exposure to the React front end. The work is challenging and complex, you'll be collaborating and problem solving as part of a supportive Agile team within a DevOps environment, following software engineering best practices such as Clean Code, TDD / BDD and SOLID principles.

The company are passionate about providing excellent education to hundreds of thousands of students around the world and support a number of causes and cutting edge research projects that improve the way people learn via real-time, live streaming technology as well as Video on Demand.

Location:

You'll be based in new state-of-the-art offices in Central Budapest on a fulltime basis and will also collaborate with the London based team.

About you:

• You have strong C# .Net Core coding skills
• You have a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns
• You have a good knowledge of software engineering best practices across the full development lifecycle
• You have public cloud experience, they use AWS but GCP or Azure is also fine
• You're familiar with DevOps, CloudFormation, Terraform
• You're collaborative with fluent English language skills
