Senior Software Tester (Manual / Automation) Budapest / WFH to 1.8 million HUF

Opportunity for a hands-on Senior Software Tester who enjoys building systems from the ground up to join a scaling technology start-up in the eCommerce space in an impactful role.

As a Senior Software Tester you will take ownership of testing and quality across the full tech stack (PHP backend, React frontend). Initially you'll assess current testing levels, perform manual and regression testing and establish automated test frameworks. You'll have the freedom to make the technical decisions and chose the right tool for the job.

The role offers excellent career progression into leadership / Head of QA Testing role.

Location / WFH:

You'll be based in Budapest two days a week with flexibility to work from home the other three days.

About you:

• You are comfortable taking ownership and building test systems from scratch
• You have experience of working in start-ups or small businesses with lots of responsibility
• You have a strong knowledge of QA test methodologies including manual, regression and automation testing
• You have a good knowledge of modern test automation tools and can select the right tool for the job
• You have fluent Hungarian and English language skills
