Staff Front End Engineer (TypeScript React SSR) Amsterdam to €105,000

Opportunity to progress your career in an impactful Staff Front End Engineer role for a scaling SaaS tech company that produce a range of solutions for travel agents across the globe, including real-time booking systems and payments processing.

As a Staff Front End Engineer you'll join a cross functional Agile team responsible for post payment solutions. You'll take a lead role in crafting exceptional user interfaces and micro front ends, creating quality code. You'll work across the full software development lifecycle through to testing, using modern technologies and libraries within a microservices environment and will collaborate closely with backend engineers to build APIs and seamlessly integrate user interface components with serverside logic.

You'll be encouraged to take ownership and contribute ideas, mentor others and drive collaboration; you'll act as a Front End "evangelist" and establish a Front End guild / community within the business.

Location / WFH:

There's a hybrid work form home policy with three days a week in the Amsterdam office.

About you:

• You are an experienced Front End Engineer / Developer with mentoring and project leadership experience
• You have an indepth knowledge of React and strong TypeScript experience
• You have experience of creating micro front-ends and a strong knowledge of front end architecture
• You have experience with server-side rendering (SSR)
• You have experience of building APIs and backend integrations (they use Ruby and Next.js but you don't need experience with these)
• You have a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals including Data Structures, Design Patterns and Algorithms
• You have fluent English language skills and are used to collaborating with globally distributed teams
