Application Support Engineer / Trade Support Analyst (FIX Networking TCP/IP WAN / LAN Linux). Would you like to join the world's largest FinTech and work on complex technically challenging systems, with continual learning opportunities within a supportive and diverse environment?
As an Application Support Engineer you will work closely with high-profile clients around the world to troubleshoot issues, implement quick solutions and conduct in-depth investigations to prevent reoccurrence with a focus on FIX connectivity. Partnering with Engineering and Product teams you will design and implement future system and product changes to prevent production incidents and outages; design improvements to existing and new configuration management, monitoring and troubleshooting support tools; be responsible and help prioritise the product backlog and conduct capacity planning by analysing client flows and trading statistics.
You'll be based in amazing City offices with open plan desk space, breakout areas, quiet spaces and a range of onsite facilities such as a free fully stocked food hall area.
*Experience in a similar Application / Trade Support position
*FIX connectivity experience
*Working knowledge of UNIX and Linux operating systems and commands, troubleshooting LAN / WAN and Middleware connectivity (TCP/IP, MQ, UDP)
*Strong customer service, with excellent communication skills
*Ability to manage short term client projects
