Business Development Executive (Technology Sales). Opportunity for a technically savvy Business Development Executive to play an active role in growing a global brand. You could be joining a scale-up software house to help create the latest generation of products targeted at the automotive sector; encompassing exciting desktop, mobile and embedded projects across multiple software platforms and technologies.

As a Business Development Executive you'll target a wide range of vertical markets including mobile operators, handset vendors, Automotive OEMs and equipment suppliers. You'll be working closely with the management team, shaping business strategy, establishing strong and trusting relationships with key partners, preparing compelling value propositions and customer proposals, developing business models, negotiating commercial terms and closing deals. There is considerable scope for innovation and introducing new product ideas.

You'll be joining a busy, motivated team of software professionals working in a friendly and collaborative environment with a good work / life balance (35 hours a week, flexi-time). Offices based in Cambridge city centre; you'll also travel to client sites across the globe (Europe, USA and the Far East).

Requirements:

*Experience of consultative selling within a technology business sector including experience of technology licensing, including contract negotiation
*Experience of preparing value propositions and commercial proposals
*Strong problem solving skills, excellent attention to detail and a drive to deliver results
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to form strong working relationships, liaise directly with clients and influence
*Ideally you will have experience of selling to global blue-chip companies and start-up organisations in different countries
