Job Description

Data Analyst (Quantitative Finance Python SQL Data Modelling Excel). Would you like to take on a challenging Data Analyst role within a hugely successful company that offers a fantastic work environment and perks including a free laptop from day one?

Hugely successful global FinTech is seeking a Data Analyst to source, standardise and build data models for a range of mortgage deal products. You will be responsible for performing in depth scenario analysis on the data; assessing credit across deals, pre-payment levels, how the deals will pay off in certain scenarios and who will be affected. Following this you will be building models of those scenarios for specific clients to be able to access. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to take on an interesting financial modelling focussed role with lots of data and very complex analytics work involved.

You will be based within an open planned and modern office in the city that has various breakout areas with quieter spaces to focus on your work or to collaborate with colleagues and a large food hall with a huge selection of free food and drinks.

Requirements:
*Previous experience within a Data Analyst / Data Modelling / Quant Analyst role
*Good technical understanding - Python, Excel, SQL
*Interest in financial modelling and scenario analysis
*Understanding of financial products (mortgages or credit ideally)
*Degree educated in Computer Science or similar
*Excellent communication and collaboration skills
