Job Description

Golang Developer (API SQL CI/CD Go). Are you a talented Golang Developer looking for an opportunity to be part of a small, autonomous development team within a successful and rapidly expanding travel company? You could be utilising and developing your skills whilst enjoying company perks such as flexible working hours (core hours 10.00 - 16.00), a private pension scheme, private health cover and annual company events.

As a Golang Developer you'll be joining a small, collaborative and highly talented team consisting of a Product Owner, UX Designer and Front End Developer. You'll be working on a number of projects; building microservice APIs utilising modern tools with a focus on delivering high quality and well-tested code. This is an exciting time for you to join the team as the company is in the process of going through an internal transformation with a focus on improving technology, converting the legacy PHP code to Golang, and enhancing their user experience.

You'll be based in offices in the West Kent area with on-site parking available.

Requirements:
*Previous software development experience
*Experience using Golang commercially or in your own time / personal projects
*Understanding of SQL and NoSQL
*Experience deploying production applications (Heroku, AWS)
*Familiar with CI/CD
*Knowledge of automating AWS
*Passionate about performance, availability and API design
*Strong analytical and problem solving skills
*Excellent communication and collaboration skills
