Job Description

Help Desk Support Engineer / Service Desk (Microsoft Windows Active Directory Citrix XenDesktop). Would you like to progress your career working with a range of Microsoft technologies to support clients within the financial services space, gaining valuable knowledge and skills?

You could be joining a global technology consultancy, providing first line support and acting as the primary contact for service requests and incidents; you'll build strong working relationships and take pride in the service delivered as part of a dedicated team.

As a Help Desk Support Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring incidents are logged with third party suppliers or other teams as appropriate; completing operational checks on a rota basis; carrying-out remote management of business critical products and service levels, desktop and configuration and ensure compliance with the company's policies and procedures relating to information security management. Dealing with traders, investors and C-Suite executives from day one you'll be based on client site or the Central London office and ensure the service delivered is of the highest standard.

Requirements:
*Good customer service skills, including a professional and helpful telephone manner, the ability to relate technical information effectively to users with differing levels of skills and experience
*Good organisation skills with a logical approach to problem solving
*Good knowledge of some / all of the following: Windows Desktop (7 and 10); Windows Server OS (2008, 2012 and 2016), Microsoft Exchange (2010, 2013 and 2016); Citrix XenDesktop; Junior Cisco Networking (CCENT), IT Security, ITIL
*Aptitude and desire to learn
*Likely to be degree educated, Computer Science preferred
