Joining an Agile team as a Software Developer you will join a high profile project to build out a strategic FIX API and internal FX pricing platform. You'll be working across the full Java development lifecycle, taking ownership, from requirements, through to solution design and rollout within a complex distributed environment.
You'll be based in fantastic City offices with a collaborative and technology driven atmosphere, smart casual dress code and a range of onsite facilities.
Requirements:
*Extensive core Java design and development experience including multi-threading expertise
*Thorough understanding of computing fundamentals and software architecture
*Experience of working on complex distributed systems with concerns such as stability, capacity, latency and throughput
*Advocate of Agile development methodologies (Scrum)
*Quick-thinking with advanced problem solving skills; pragmatic and flexible
*Excellent communication skills
*FX experience is advantageous
