Job Description

Software Engineer (Embedded C C++ Linux RTOS FPGA SoC). Would you like to work on complex and interesting systems that provide daily challenges; collaborate with a friendly and upbeat team and improve your skills whilst enjoying a good work / life balance with core hours 1000 until 1600?

Technology company is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer with C/C++ and low level Linux skills. You'll work across the full development lifecycle of low level software that sends video across a number of devices as well as low level graphic device drivers built into Windows. You'll be working with content protection, encryption, compression and decryption across USB, Wireless and Ethernet at the chip / processor level.

The core product is a graphic display, used by big name media clients to create large scale digital visualisations. You'll also be working on Greenfield product development utilising Virtual Reality and Wi-Fi technology.

Offices based in Cambridge with a professional, friendly, collaborative team environment; parking available.

Requirements:

*Strong embedded C and / or C++ development experience
*Ability to write assembler, C and C++ programs targeted at embedded systems, primarily 32 bit processors running RTOS
*Degree educated
*Excellent communication skills
