Application Support Engineer (Linux). Successful financial software house is seeking a skilled Application Support Analyst to provide high level technical support on a range of complex financial trading applications to a prestigious client base.
Joining a fast paced Support Team as an Application Support Analyst you will be responsible for responding promptly to support requests, resolving issues related to order entry, risk management and exchange connectivity. You'll conduct analysis of complex order and trade histories; document and track case histories, issues and actionable steps taken; identify solutions and document support policies and procedures. Liaising directly with new customers you will coordinate deployment and configuration of the company's products and manage the distribution and installation of software enhancements.

*Experience as an Application Support Analyst
*Good knowledge of Linux fundamentals
*Ability to script / code with bash, Perl and / or Python
*Experience of escalating issues to the development team and working with them to resolve
*Advanced analysis and problem solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to build strong working relationships and provide a high level of customer service
*Strong organisation and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
*Nice to have: JIRA
