C++ Developer / Research Engineer (MSc / PhD Algorithm Bayesian). Innovative, young start-up is seeking a highly technical C++ Developer with strong research experience to develop algorithms and interpret vast amounts of data from the main mobile products. Using techniques such as probabilistic modelling and Bayesian theory, you will deliver useful and actionable insights.
As a C++ Developer / Research Engineer you will design and develop an innovative Cloud-based solution to track equipment and personnel for enterprise-scale organisations. Based in Central Oxford, close to main line station, this R&D environment offers a casual dress code and a good work / life balance.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an early stage start-up (product in Beta) and have a great deal of impact on its future success.
*Excellent record of academic achievement, minimum 2.1 at BSc likely to have gone on to study at MSc / PhD level
*Ability to code with Object Orientated C++
*Experience of localisation in research
*Previous experience of probabilistic estimation
*Strong communication skills
*Desirable: experience of processing noisy inertial sensor data for estimating motion and location; experience of Android and iOS app development
