Front End Developer (Senior / Team Lead) Web JavaScript Node HTML5 CSS3 Google Chromium. Award winning FinTech start-up software house with offices in Central London and New York is seeking a hands-on senior Front End Developer. You're primary focus will be on building applications and extensions to the core platform; you'll be coding daily and working across the full development lifecycle as the sole developer on the core engine in London.

As a senior Front End Developer you'll head up, manage and grow the R&D software development team from scratch. The flagship web based product provides runtime technology for complex applications targeted at the world's largest banks and trading platforms.

Responsibilities as senior Front End Developer will also encompass engaging with customers and participating in the sales process, providing technical thought leadership and working with the management team to define and refine product requirements. The company is a technical innovator, the software is based on
Google's Chromium open-source project and is purpose-built to meet the security and performance needs of real-time financial applications. Part of your role will be to promote and develop the open source community, attending meetups, conferences and presenting.

Requirements:
*Indepth knowledge of web architecture, JavaScript and Node with recent coding experience
*Strong knowledge of web client technologies including HTML5, CSS3
*Significant experience developing and maintaining production quality software
*Experience of leading a small highly talented technology team
*Excellent communication and presentation skills
