Senior Scala Developer London to £100k

Senior Scala Developer (Java AKKA Play Docker AWS). Lead a talented team of developers and utilise your exceptional Java and Scala skills to make your mark on a hugely successful FinTech who offer a range of financial investment services to the public via their advanced technology platform.

As a Senior Scala Developer you will lead a team of developers and help design the company's next generation systems, ensuring that all software is testable, maintainable and automated. You will be passionate about applying functional programming in Scala, producing software of the highest standard, and writing automated tests of your code as part of a scrum development team. As a Senior Scala Developer you will be responsible for overseeing your team whilst mentoring and guiding more junior developers.

Requirements:
*Strong Scala skills
*Experience leading a team of Scala developers
*Play / Akka experience
*Advocate of Agile development methodologies: Scrum, TDD / BDD
*Familiar with ScalaTest
*Excellent communication skills
*Degree educated in Computer Science or similar
