Cloud Engineer (Microsoft Azure M365) Accrington / WFH to £70k

Do you have a strong knowledge of Azure combined with the Microsoft tech stack?

You could be progressing your career at a scaling UK tech consultancy as a key part of the managed services team.

As a Cloud Engineer you'll provide 2nd line technical support for issues escalated from the service desk, covering both Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms. You'll manage the full lifecycle of support tickets, ensuring issues are diagnosed, resolved and documented within agreed SLAs and also perform day-to-day administration of client M365 environments, including user and license management, mailbox permissions and security group administration as well as administering and supporting Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Microsoft Teams.

Location / WFH:

You can work from home most of the time, meeting up with colleagues in the Accrington office twice a week, please note there will also be occasional trips to visit clients in London and the office is likely to move to Preston in the coming months.

You'll be working on a shift based rota including overnight, with changing requirements due to demand.

About you:

• You have experience of working in a 24x7 technical support environment and working with critical customer production systems
• You are a specialist with Microsoft Azure
• You have a strong knowledge of M365, Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Intune
• You're familiar with core networking services (DNS, DHCP), Windows Server Active Directory and Entra Connect
• You're collaborative and pragmatic with great communication and customer service skills
• You have SC Clearance (or have the ability to achieve it - i.e. you must be a British citizen with the past 5 years continually based in the UK, due to the nature of some public sector clients
