Environments Team Lead (DevOps Infrastructure UAT) London / WFH

Do you have experience of configuring complex, distributed systems?

You could be progressing your career as a hands-on Environments Team Lead at a successful and growing FinTech that processed over £250 billion in business money transfers last year.

As an Environments Team Lead you will create, configure and maintain client-critical environments outside of production, specifically UAT and other test environments used by the company's clients to perform hands-on testing and to test their systems' interaction with the company's technologies.

You will take a lead role in the planning and execution of a complex schedule of maintenance and system-upgrade tasks required to keep multiple client-critical environments up-to-date, secure and functioning, ensuring the Environments team cover the necessary out-of-hours activities involved in support for multiple client-critical systems for a global client base. You'll provide coaching and mentoring to a small team, passing on knowledge and developing the teams capabilities.

Location / WFH:

You'll join colleagues in the City office three days a week with flexibility to work from home twice a week.

About you:

• You have experience and a strong knowledge of support and configuration of complex multitier software systems involving messaging technologies (e.g. IBM MQ)
• You have strong SQL and T-SQL knowledge including query writing and stored procedures
• You have experience with configuration and management of Windows and Linux servers
• You have a good understanding of cloud environment (AWS, Azure), CI/CD tools such as TeamCity and GitHub Actions, DevOps principles
• You're collaborative and pragmatic with excellent communication skills
