Azure DevOps Engineer Madrid to €180k

You could be progressing your career in an impactful role at a start-up Investment Management firm that have secure backing and an established Hedge Fund client as a partner.

As an Azure DevOps Engineer you will provide subject matter expertise on DevOps, establishing the function, putting systems, processes and policies in place. You'll be responsible for the automation of infrastructure and systems, ensuring streamlined and efficient operations. A key focus is on owning, managing, and maintaining the Continuous Integration (CI) infrastructure, which supports the development pipeline and promotes rapid, reliable code delivery.

Additionally, the position includes developing and enhancing monitoring and diagnostic tools to improve system visibility and operational performance. Another important aspect of the role is delivering automation solutions that directly benefit end users, improving their experience and reducing manual tasks.

Location / WFH:

You'll be based in Madrid on a fulltime basis (Monday to Friday).

About you:

You have studied at a top 10 university in Spain (or top 200 globally) and have achieved 9.0 and above in Bachillerato and 7.0 and above in University - Computer Science or Mathematics preferred
You have expertise with DevOps within an Azure environment
You have a software engineering background (any programming language, C# or Python preferred) and strong scripting skills (PowerShell preferred)
You have experience with Docker Orchestration via Kubernetes
You have experience with public cloud technologies; Azure preferred, AWS, GCP also considered
You have a strong knowledge of modern software engineering best practices
